In Praise of Living in Peace
133 How wonderful it is, how pleasant,
for God’s people to live together in harmony!
2 It is like the precious anointing oil
running down from Aaron’s head and beard,
down to the collar of his robes.
3 It is like the dew on Mount Hermon,
falling on the hills of Zion.
That is where the Lord has promised his blessing—
life that never ends.
What a wonderful inspiration Psalm 133 is. How wonderful it is to be part of the Uniting Church. As members of the Uniting Church we come from many different backgrounds and age groups. In spite of the apparent differences, we all come together to praise the Lord, to thank Jesus for the salvation he acquired for us. We enjoy the prayer, we enjoy the fellowship, we enjoy reaching out, We are wonderful. These are not my words. They are the words of the psalmist who was inspired by God to write Psalm 133. We are the living embodiment of Psalm 133, We are living an experience that never ends.
Have a very nice day everyone.
Blessings, peace and joy.
