Traditional Service: Every Sunday 9.30 a.m. to 10.30 a.m.
Our Traditional Worship Service is mostly identified by its style of music aCombined Servicend structure set out in the Uniting in Worship 2. This service consist of four major parts, the Gathering of the People of God, The Service of the Word, The Sacrament of the Lord’s Supper, and the Sending Forth of the People of God.
The Sacrament of Holy Communion is celebrated on the first Sunday of every month. Everyone is welcome to participate.
Children join with their families in worship through music and prayer, and take turns carrying out special tasks such as carrying the bible, lighting the Christ candle and assisting during the time of offering. After gathering with our minister for a special children’s time, they then proceed to their Sunday School classes.
Fellowship after the service
What better way to end worship than with a time to share with friends over a cup of coffee or tea in hall. Everyone is welcome to share in this very important time of fellowship.
A combined service for East Geelong and Leopold Congregations takes place every fifth Sunday. Each Congregation take turn in hosting and organising these services.
A combined service between East Geelong, Leopold, St Andrews and St Albans Park Uniting churches in June every year to celebrate the Uniting Church’s birthday.
